Known Issues in 26R1 Pre-Release

The issues listed below may impact Veeva Clinical Data functionality for some users. We are actively investigating all known issues and will be providing fixes and updated information in future releases. Between the start of the pre-release period and the general release, we may remove issues that are found to be caused by user error or are working as designed. This list is subject to change until the general release. We may also release maintenance releases to pre-release environments. See the bottom of this page.

An asterisk (*) next to the issue number denotes an internally found defect filed during the development of Limited Release features.

Known Issues by Category

CDB - API

CDB - Configuration

CDB - CQL

Protocol deviations created from third-party data default the Item Group Sequence Number to zero instead of blank (null). VDC-207886*  
In some cases, a review listing fails with an error when the system attempts to calculate a unique ID for a row that contains null data. VDC-280422*  

CDB - Deployment

Vault owners may need to attempt listing access deployment multiple times before it succeeds. VDC-281724*
When deployment returns a warning for Listing Access, the tooltip text for the warning doesn't include enough detail. VDC-281819*

CDB - Export

Issue Description Issue No. New Feature
Export package generation may fail unexpectedly due to a "No valid export listings" error, when there are valid Export Listings in the Export Definition. VDC-207864*  
When an export definition contains two forms, one of which is blinded at the form level, that share item definitions, CDB will not include the data type for the shared items on both forms in the manifest file, instead of only the blinded form. VDC-285394

CDB - Import

For some users, form times display as null instead of zero after forms are unlocked and re-locked. VDC-183137*  
In some cases, imported 3PD packages will have an incorrect item group auto sequence number and duplicated rows when the studyID has different values for Study Name. VDC-205336*  
In some cases, direct data full packages take longer than expected to ingest, causing timeouts. VDC-207522*  
The Import 3PD package job fails with an error when the row_blinded column is blank. VDC-212495*  
In some cases, Open EDC packages fail with an error. VDC-213618*  
Users may encounter an error on the Unblinding Rule Summary page when new forms or items have been added to certain environments. VDC-214129*
The manifest builder summary page shouldn't display the length for Integer data type items. VDC-280648*
Users may encounter an error during ingestion after submitting a lab form with missing results. VDC-283079*  
In some cases, full ingestion fails with a missing "event_cdm" exception. VDC-283837  
Inherited Transform Datetimes don't appear in the audit log when the ancestor has a null Grouping ID. VDC-284676*
CDB may apply blinding inconsistently across duplicate Item Definitions when the form-level blinding differs. VDC-284694  

CDB - Listings

In some cases, the downloaded CSV file for a review listing contains data that differs from the UI. VDC-209383*
Some users encounter an error when attempting to view custom listing properties. The screen freezes forcing a page refresh. VDC-211397*  
In query and protocol deviation listings, applying a Date-DateTime filter followed by a page refresh causes the UI to become unresponsive and display a blank white screen. VDC-215072*
In some cases, the Listing Access Category report's Last Modified field displays category creation information. VDC-215695*
When using Save As for a listing in a category where the user doesn't have permission to publish, the ability to publish the new listing isn't returned when the user updates the listing to a non-restricted category. VDC-216251*
Clicking the Protocol Deviation decoration in a cell doesn't open the Protocol Deviations tab in the Cell Details panel. VDC-280281*  
Users aren't able to create a listing using save as from a listing category that they don't have create access for. VDC-280482*
For text columns, the Sort & Filter menu includes the is between operator and is missing the is null and is not null operators. VDC-281114*
For datetime columns, the Sort & Filter menu doesn't include the contains operator. VDC-281265*
When a user repeatedly paginates by entering a page number, Workbench locks the page number input field. VDC-281316*  
When the Previous Value tooltip is open on a conditionally blinded cell in a Review Listing, the browser developer tools may show the value. VDC-281608*
CDB may show a category inactive message before a user attempts to edit the listing. VDC-281684*
When an existing listing's Category is inactive, CDB doesn't show an informative error message. VDC-281686*
For some numeric columns, Filter by Cell Value may use "is empty" instead of "is equal to" for the filter operator. VDC-281700*
When a user switches between tabs in the Cell Details panel, Workbench may not show or may disable actions. VDC-282231*  
Users are able to edit a listing and move it into a category for which they don't have publish access. VDC-282916*
When an attempted deployment that triggers a system warning, the warning only displays as expected for the first attempt and not for subsequent attempts. VDC-283271  
When a missing role causes a deployment to fail with an error message, after the role is added with no other changes, the same error message is displayed on redeployment even though the deployment is successful. VDC-283635  

CDB - Protocol Deviations

CDB - Unblinding Rules

Clinical Reporting

Users can create a listing with the Custom Listing category in the Listing Builder when they don't' have access to that category. VDC-281634*

Data Entry

Review Plan Editor

Role & User Management

When a user with a pending VeevaID invitation is inactivated, re-activated, and then re-invited, their Current VeevaID Status incorrectly shows as "Revoked". VDC-281829*
The error message displayed when attempting to create a new Principal Investigator (PI) using the email address of an inactive PI record incorrectly says that an active PI is already using the email. VDC-282035*
When attempting to load the list of users assigned to a specific role in the Role Management subtab of System Tools, a server error occurs if one of those users has a Person record created without a User, such as when the Person is an invited VeevaID user. VDC-282444*

Rule Editor

Rule Execution

Study Administration

In some cases, a custom site user without the Upload Imaging Exam permission encounters an error when attempting to upload a File Attachment Item, but after navigating away from and back to the form, the upload status is In Progress. VDC-214005*
Users may experience slow performance in the My Study Sites subtab in the Review tab. VDC-281459*
