Veeva Coder Icons
The table below details the different icons that display in Veeva Coder and what they represent.
Coder Icons
| Icon | Name | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Query | This icon appears to the right of the Code Request Listing. On click, the query panel opens allowing you to post and close queries, and view site responses. |
|
| Note | This icon appears to the right of the Code Request Listing. On click, the note panel opens allowing you to view and post notes on the selected Verbatim. When shown in the Notes Status column, this icon indicates there is a note associated with the Code Request. |
|
| Properties | This icon appears to the right of the Code Request Listing. On click, the Properties panel opens showing information about the Assigned Code, if any, and Related Item values for the selected Verbatim based on the Form Coding Configuration. |
|
| Refresh Listing | This icon appears in the Coding Request Listing. On click, the listing is refreshed to load any new Code Requests and update existing Code Requests per site-entered data. |
|
| List Mode | This icon appears in the Coding Request Listing. On click, the Code Requests in the Code Request Listing are shown in List view. Learn more about Viewing Modes. |

| Grouped Mode | This icon appears in the Coding Request Listing. On click, the Code Requests in the Code Request Listing are shown in Grouped view. Learn more about Viewing Modes. |
|
| Focus | This icon appears on hover over a verbatim. Click to choose a Primary Selection from a group of selected Code Requests during batch coding. |
|
| Form | This icon appears in List mode on hover over a verbatim. On click, the EDC form that originated the Code Request is displayed. |
|
| More Actions Menu | This icon appears in List mode on hover over a verbatim. On click, the More Actions menu opens, allowing you to open the Audit Trail. |
|
| Expand Panel | This icon appears in the Coding panel. On click, the Coding Panel is expanded to the full screen. |
|
| Collapse Panel | This icon appears in the Coding panel. On click, the Coding Panel is collapsed to the bottom of the screen. |
|
| Pop Out | This icon appears in the Coding panel. On click, the Coding Panel is popped out in a separate window. |
|
| Reference | This icon appears in the Coding panel. On hover, the dictionary, Synonym List, and Do Not Autocode List associated with the Form are displayed. |
|
| Tips | This icon appears in the Coding Panel. On click, tips for searching dictionaries are displayed. |
|
| Options | In the Code Request Listing, clicking this icon opens the All Actions Menu. In the upper right of the Coding Panel, clicking this icon opens a column selector. In the Code Options column of the Coding Panel, this icon appears on hover and clicking it opens the Actions menu with the option to Code All Forms and Update Synonym List. |
